Himeka Nakamoto: 'I'll listen to anything. Commemorating the broadcast of 'Himeka Nakamoto's Counseling Room for Any Concerns!' Special Email Interview

On December 7th, the second release of 'I'll Listen to Anything: Himeka Nakamoto's Counseling Room for Any Concerns' will be available. Please share your candid impressions upon completing this work. Responding to emotions through writing was a different experience compared to regular counseling. In usual counseling sessions, there is feedback from the person seeking advice, and the dialogue progresses based on that. However, with a book, the interaction tends to be one-sided. I had thought that 'Psychological counseling' and 'A book answering concerns' would go well together, but I keenly felt that it couldn't be asserted so easily. As a result, this book became more about listening to stories rather than providing answers to concerns. It was truly written with the sentiment of 'I'll listen to anything.

Recent activity report.

I apologize for the long absence from the blog. It's already summer, time flies! Recently, I've been engaged in a few different types of work than my usual counseling and podcasting, so let me give you an activity report. "Koi Radi" Flower Festival Special Stage On June 10th (Saturday), I was in Hiroshima Prefecture! In the photo, you can see the host, Taiki Okazaki, and Morimitsu Nanaya-san. I've had the opportunity to make several phone appearances on Koi Radi in the past. The members mentioned, 'We'd love to meet you in person someday,' and this time, that wish came true! SPL∞ASH and HKT48's performances were so energetic that they even lifted my spirits (^0^). Although I appeared as a surprise guest, I want to express my gratitude to all the warm-hearted attendees who welcomed me. Nigitatsu Wellness Festa 2023 On July 13th (Monday, a public holiday), I had a speaking engagement in Ehime Prefecture! The talk was directed towards educators, dis...

I try to write a little about HSP

Image
Some of you may be wondering what HSP is all about. Lately, I've been hearing this term quite often and it even comes up in sessions, so I thought I'd briefly talk about it this time. If you want to know more details, please do some research. Especially in books published this year, it seems to be well explained. HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) is a concept that refers to a person's nature. It can be translated as 'highly sensitive individuals.' What they are sensitive to varies from person to person. Some may be highly attuned to people's moods, have heightened sensitivity in one or more of their senses, or easily get tired from external stimuli. These are the traits they possess. It is said that about one in five Japanese people are HSPs. So, there might be quite a few people who can relate. I first learned about this term around the spring of last year. It's relatively recent for me, but now it's one of the fields I'm interested in. The nature of an...
