[Seeking Concerns!] The counseling book project by Nakamoto Himeka, a former member of Nogizaka46 and a psychological counselor, has begun

ddddd

The second installment of the book by Nakamoto Himeka, a former member of Nogizaka46 who is currently working as a psychological counselor, has been decided!

The previous book, 'Thank You, Myself: From Graduating Nogizaka46 to Becoming a Psychological Counselor,' recounted her struggles with adjustment disorder while active as an idol and her journey until she discovered counseling. The upcoming sequel will feature Nakamoto-san, now taking a step as a counselor, facing individuals with worries similar to her former self in a 'counseling book.'

In this book, readers can experience counseling sessions where they confide their concerns to Nakamoto-san and engage in casual conversations, gradually finding their hearts becoming lighter. The publication is scheduled for winter 2023.

Comment from Nakamoto Himeka:

After publishing my previous work, 'Thank You, Myself: From Graduating Nogizaka46 to Becoming a Psychological Counselor,' how was the response from those around you? Please also tell us the reasons behind deciding to write the second book.

I received comments from clients (consultees) such as, "I shared Nakamoto-san's experiences and found encouragement in the similar ways of thinking," and "I keep the book by my side like a charm, and when I'm going through a tough time, I revisit it."

Since there were sections where I wrote about my conflicts, I was curious about the reactions of those who read it before its publication. I would be glad if it resonated strongly with them through my actual experiences.

While not many have experienced being an idol, it seems that readers could relate their own situations and worries, whether it was about their career path, job change, or personal insecurities.

As I had more opportunities to listen to people's concerns as a counselor, I accumulated the realization of "Are many people troubled by these kinds of issues?"

Of course, everyone's environment and solutions are unique, so they cannot be generalized.

Nevertheless, I hope that through the book, I can demonstrate an attitude of "thinking together" for those who hesitate to seek counseling or feel that their problems are not significant enough to talk to someone. This made me feel the desire to write the second book.

If it can create a sense of talking to someone and help organize one's thoughts, I would like it to become a book that serves as everyone's charm or talisman of sorts.

We are accepting your concerns!

We are seeking the concerns from our CREA WEB readers to be featured in this book. If you have any issues you would like to consult with Nakamoto-san about, please review the following guidelines and submit your responses through the questionnaire form.

Whether it's about school, career, work, relationships, or any other theme, we welcome a variety of concerns. We look forward to receiving many submissions!
